I'M FREEEEEEEE!

I had my last university lecture until February 2010 =D I am a happeh Hari!

We had the mother of all forensics lecture; not theory. PRACTICAL. Taking fingerprints from items in a set-up crime scene, disarming guns, packaging exhibits and handling 'biohazards' (IE real fake blood, haha!). I pulled this beautiful fingerprint from an empty beercan, and then was taught to disarm a fake 9mm semi-auto handgun, and then got to package a fake finger. Very very VERY fun! I'm not joking; I had the most fun I've had in a while!

I was very brave; I've come down with The Cold Of Doom (better known as a common cold), and still went into university! I'm sleeping on the sofa, completely upright to stop my brain snot leaking down my throat, but I am sleeping better - maybe the answer is to have a permenant cold forever? *ponders*

I was also welcomed home by 2 packages; two books for my forensic psychology course, and a package from zenity , full of pokemon kids and goodies! Ahhh, just... 4 more to come, me thinks? Maybe 3... Nope, 4.

Also all you UK-ers - did you get Teh Snow today?! We were worried that we'd get snowed in up at Ealing >.< Has anyone else in the world had snow in the last couple of days?

And today...

Hari is happy.

Not for any specific reason though, no. I'm just feeling much happier! I'm very excited about how well my selling of pokémon merchandise is going, I've finished my Christmas shopping and I'm charging ahead with my dissertation.

I also am 1 pokémon away from FINISHING MY NATIONAL POKÉDEX ON PLATINUM! SQUEEEEE! Just need Exploud and there I am, finished and done and dandy. Oh gosh I'm excited!

Sadly my muse has gone on her Christmas vacation. I can't draw, have no desire to write and roleplaying? I sit with the window open and just can't write anything. Claire-bear, I'm so sorry I'm making you wait! Bloody muse PLZ come back *cries*

I'm sleeping worse than ever, but I think I've adjusted to it - can that even happen? I just don't feel so drained and tired now, like my body has finally cottoned onto the fact that it feels crappy because it's had no sleep.

ALSO! After Wednesday, University is over until February! We have no further lectures in this semester, so bye bye Boring David and bye bye Ealing for 8 weeks! *jumps for joy* I hope to finish my dissertation in this time, so that'll be good.

I wish I had something far more exciting to tell you all. But hey, I know that something will come up and be exciting soon!

Morning all!

So, 18 days until Christmas - are you getting excited? I know I am! It's been planned with military precision, and I've finished all of my Christmas shopping. (I had actually finished it about a month ago, but there). I'm watching a few pocket watches on eBay for hubby, but they'll be supplimentary presents rather than main gifts.

I have 2 days of university left (1 day a week x 2 weeks) and am doing really well with my dissertation. I've changed the title again, but it's coming together rather nicely!

And my sales post has been EPIC. The members of pkmncollectors are all so sweet and generous, they've all been so patient with the n00b x.x I hope it'll continue doing well, and everyone will like what they bought!

I know I should be writing. I should be drawing too, but my muse has just vanished. I've managed this doodle:-


Is there anyone who can prettify this to make it a halfway decent userpic for me? I just... BLARGHLARGLE. I would love to use it but I just... I don't know x.x

First, to anyone who has recieved a SPAM email from me, I AM SORRY. I always thought I was safe from my email being used as a SPAM-bot, but I'm not - please forgive me. I have sent a report to Yahoo! about it, and have checked everything like my Paypal, and all is well - it seems it used my email account without hacking it. I would like others to learn from my mistake: DON'T post your email up in it's full form - post it as name[AT]provider.country; DON'T leave it visible on LJ, or any forum; and DON'T organise an automatic login for your email. Also keep your virus software up-to-date, and check the SPAM filter on your email account.

Please, my darling friends, don't fall foul to this - I was seriously upset by what happened, and I'm still beside myself with worry. Protect yourselves; prevention is the best cure.

IN OTHER NEWS!

My TOMY figures came! After an argument with the post office, I finally got them - and they are GORGEOUS! I'll post up a little sneaky-peak of my sales, friends only, and you can see them then. I'm very excited to be selling soon! It'll be a great way to earn some extra cash and fund my purty pokémon collection.

I am utterly in love with Missy. She has been so kind to me this week. It started with my mum and Barry kicking off, then my anxiety kicked in, my skin got awful (seriously - dot to dots would be easy x.x), the post office lost my parcel, my 1 wisdom tooth started coming through (and causing me agony - why else would I be up at five to eleven on a thursday?!) and I'm sleeping on the sofa because of my tooth. I have had an epic-fail of a week, but she's been there, bringing me her toys and having snugglies and kissing away tears. Mah behbeh girlie *snuggles*

I am feeling more positive. I'm hoping to get to the doctors for some painkillers for my tooth, and to (hopefully) get referred to a dermatologist for my skin, my parcel has arrived, my camera is taking good photographs and Barry and my Mum have resolved their stupid, childish issues.

I am still looking for your opinions! What do you think my colour scheme for my journal should be? We have:-

On the vaguely positive side, I've begun getting my pokémon stuff together to sell (hopefully Monday next week I'll be posting it up), and I'm expecting 2 lots of TOMY figures from eBay tomorrow (shame I have to be at university!), which is super exciting! They had some gorgeous translucent figures which I won and hope they're as beautiful as they look on the photo's in person.

I've found a style of clothing I like; well, sort of. I'm loving layers of knitwear at the moment, and have a long sleeve t-shirt (white) and a fuschia long cardigan on now! I've been collecting thin jumpers for the last few weeks, and have a good selection now - they're all so soft and comfy. Also my nan today treated me to some red and white knitted lounge socks, which are just divine - I adore them so much :D

I'm just charging up my iPod ready for tomorrow's trip to Ealing - anyone else have Shakira's new album? It is amazing! She's one of my idols, so when I saw her newest album on iTunes I knew I had to have it, and I adore it. She's so talented and sexy - I really admire her.

I'm also thinking about making myself a custom style sheet for my LJ - what colours/theme do you guys think? I love this banner made for me, so I was thinking using this and the colour scheme, but I dunno. What do you guys reckon I should go for?

Now I want to read/write some Jack//Tenth Doctor PWP. They make a freaking SEXY couple... *headdesk*

OH HAI.

Pardon my slushiness in the last post; I was tired and emotional. It shan't happen again.

We had a great day at the NEC yesterday! I spent too much money (as usual), but look what my dad bought Missy:-



A CUTE PINK T-SHIRT! It says 'That's it! I'm calling Grandad' on it :D

She's also got a little harness, to stop her half-strangling herself when we go for walkies x.x silly dog. Anywho, once the camera is charged, I'll take some photos of what I bought, and some better ones of the doggie-girl.

Oh yeah, and I broke my foot. Yup. My left big toe, to be exact! Still, it means my wrist doesn't hurt as much?!

I have had Figgy, the cute cat in these pictures, since I was 18 months old. He's nearly 19 years old, and sleeps with me every night, so he's kinda rough and damaged, so my nan knits him jumpers to protect him from any more damage. She's decided to get creative, and here's his newest clothes!

Wow. In a months time exactly, on the 1st of November, I will be *gulp* 21.

I know it's not a huge deal, but nonetheless, it's another milestone of my life :D I'm excited!

Whoms, updateys!

It's Barry's first day at work today; I felt like his mum, packing up some lunch for him in a box and putting some change in the bottom for a bottle of coke. I'm so damn proud of him, and of us! A year ago, before all my counselling, I think I would have been seriously fucked up by the last 9 months, leading me into a spiral of self-harm and hating myself. I'm proud of myself for not being like that, and finding ways to cope - and 5 months self-harm free!

Ahnd, another first! Tomorrow I have to get my butt to Ealing for our orientation session at St Mary's. It'll be a good test of the trains and the best way to get from the station to the campus, and I intend to take some photo's for some silliness tomorrow, depending on what parcel's come today and maybe before I leave tomorrow.

Tonight, me and my mum are hosting a Jamie Oliver party for his cookware and things of that nature, so I'm quite looking forward to that - we've got quite a few of our friends and family coming, so that'll be a laugh.

I'm having great fun on my new anti-depressants. Now that the withdrawl from the old ones has stopped, I've got nausea and, better yet, dizziness! It's freaking hilarious, I keep randomly falling over!

Now to go try and work out exactly what I am doing being up and legible at 9am when I have uni tomorrow >.>

I know I should do a proper entry. So here it is!

1) My university loan came through! We can afford to eat again, which is quite the relief! Now we're just waiting on the council's paying us (they owe us in the region of £5000, so that will help us with our debts.

2) I found my pokémon collection grail! OMG! Here's a picture (mine isn't here yet):-

3) Both sets of grandparents are better; my maternal grandmother fell and hurt her hand and her head, my paternal grandad fell and broke his ankle (he's not better, but he's feeling less pain and less down about being stuck indoors) and my paternal grandmother's depression is starting to lift. Thank goodness! Old people do worry me sometimes!

4) I've been rather geeky and got all my stuff ready for my final year at university, including a 1 terabyte external hard-drive! It now houses all of my movies and music, as well as back-ups of my pictures and documents, so my laptop is incredibly fast again. We did have a bit of drama with the laptop on monday; Barry (hubby-bloke) went to use it while I was in town with Lauren and found that the power jack had vanished! So when I got back I had to dismantle the whole laptop to fix it >.< But it's done now, and working perfectly.

5)  I'M BACK TO PLAYING MY TROMBONE. SQUEEEEE! I was invited back to my old school to join the Jazz Band again, and so Monday morning saw my first rehersal. Damn, I love it so much! I'd forgotten how much joy it brought me ^_^

6) I'm growing my nails. I've completely stopped chewing them, and so I'm trying to get them to strengthen up. I've also discovered that the Boots own Number 17 Lasting Fix nail polishes are amazingly chip resistant. My fingernails are bright pink!

Urhm... I think that's everything!
